为了要彻底肃清贪污，廉政公署在成立之初便制定了一套独特的策略，利用三管齐下的方式，包括调查、预防及教育，打击贪污，并一直沿用至今。自廉政公署成立以来，肃贪的效果非常颢着，除成功捣破多宗重大案件，如轰动一时的公屋贪污案和律政高官受贿案外，还令市民彻底改变了对贪污的观念，使反贪污的工作收到持久的成效。在去年，香港在一项国际研究中更成为全亚洲最廉洁的地方的第二位，充分反映了廉政公署在过去三十年来反贪倡廉的成绩。

　　Thirty Years of Success

　　Since its inception, the Commission adopts a three-pronged approach of investigation, prevention and education to fight corruption. From the year it was established, it has battered several major cases such as the public housing blocks malversation and bribery of senior government counsel of the legal department. All the success has changed the public’s attitude on corruption and enhanced the Commission’s staying power. Last year, Hong Kong was voted the second cleanest region in Asia in an international study. This showed that the Commission has done great jobs in the past thirty years.
